POTUS wannabe John Kerry's political tailspin continues, as he has now surpassed fellow self-obsessed loser Al Gore in the petulant sour grapes department by preposterously suggesting that President Bush be impeached.
Normally impeachment is reserved for Presidents who commit felonies while in office, like Bill Clinton. But W being morally damned near impeccable (he would have to be, to survive the desperate scrutiny he has been getting from the media for years), Kerry has to settle for the "crime" of offering Saddam's weapons of mass destruction as one of the many reasons to put an end to that nightmarish regime.
The absurd canard that Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction can easily be disproved by the many accounts of his use of these weapons against Iranians and against his own people. Here is what Saddam's henchman Ali "Chemical Ali" Hassan al Majid had to say about their use against Iraqi Kurds:
I will strike with chemicals and kill them all. What is the international community going to say? The hell with them and the hell with any other country in the world that objects.
If I showed a monkey a banana, then hid the banana behind my back, my guess is that the monkey would not be so stupid as to think the banana never existed. We have seen the WMDs used. Therefore they existed. If there is anyone out there who can't follow that reasoning, leave a comment and I'll try to explain it using shorter words.
Where are the WMDs now? Try the Bekaa Valley.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, perhaps this one will help settle the surreal "were there weapons of mass destruction" debate:
This is what President Bush has strived to prevent from happening to more children — including American children — in the future. For that, the paragon of moral righteousness John Kerry would have him impeached.
Won't it be a relief to the parents of these children (assuming any of the parents are alive) that in the alternate reality inhabited by Kerry and his MSM friends, the WMDs used to do this to them never existed?
Kerry's justification for pretending that Bush deliberately mislead anyone regarding these supposedly nonexistent weapons is the Downing Street Memo, which some of the wackier denizens of the far Left would like to believe includes an admission by Tony Blair that President Bush deliberately distorted intelligence. As NewsMax points out, the memo "contains no quotes from either Bush or Blair, and is notably slim on evidence implicating Bush in a WMD cover-up."
Kerry, please, crawl back under your rock. You're not just disgracing the Democratic Party anymore. You're an embarrassment to the entire country. I would suggest immigrating to France, but I'm not sure they would have you.
