Naked Moonbats on Wheels

Posted by Dave Blount at June 11, 2005 11:24 AM

A friendly warning: if you are disturbed by the idea of large numbers of sweaty lunatics, some of them probably aging hippies, riding around naked on bicycles, today might be a good day to stay indoors with the curtains drawn — at least if you live in one of the cities where the World Naked Bike Ride is scheduled to take place.

American cities include most of the usual suspects: San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Boulder, Burlington, etc — in short, wherever moonbats can be found in heavy concentrations. Organizers in Ashville, North Carolina have put up a particularly informative site.

Participants can ride partially or fully naked, and are encouraged to bring flyers and signs, or to paint their bodies, so as to protest "the occupation/war in Iraq, gas prices and the suppression of our freedoms."

Bicycle seats are evidently optional, judging by the expressions on some of the faces that can be seen in pictures from past naked bike ride protests.
