Lethal Moonbattery

Sure moonbattery is good for a laugh; I can't even look at Dennis Kucinich without breaking into guffaws. But we don't want to forget that moonbattery can be lethal, both to its adherents, and to those unfortunate enough to find themselves surrounded by it.

I'm not talking about the gruesome fruits of the evil ideologies moonbats support, either openly or tacitly. Most everyone knows that communism and Islamofascism are good for only two things: enslaving people and making people dead. But what some don't realize is that even your garden variety patchouli-stinking Deaniac may be walking hand in hand with the Grim Reaper.

V the K of Caption This! and Billy Budd of American Dinosaur both passed along a link to the obituary of a dead moonbat in Tucson whose very flakiness apparently caused his heart to fail:

He had strong political opinions and followed Amy Goodman's radio broadcast "Democracy Now." Alas the stolen election of 2000 and living with right-winged Americans finally brought him to his early demise. Stress from living in this unjust country brought about several heart attacks rendering him disabled.

Evidently "disabled" means "dead" in this context.

On a less amusing note, TripleNeckSteel at Rantings of a Bitter Man reports that a police officer died in the line of duty during a scuffle with Luddite kooks protesting against the same biotechnology that keeps the pampered little fools so well fed.

Maybe the Government ought to mandate warning labels on Birkenstocks and copies of the New York Times: "Caution: Moonbattery can be hazardous to human health."

It is hard to fathom the dementia of such a person. I am boggled and saddened but here we have a modern fanatic.

I wrote about the liberal who died from conservative exposure as well. If this is true, it presents us conservatives with a valuable new weapon against the far left. Just think, simply by hanging around leftist we could possibly kill them, and no court could convict us. It's like War of The Worlds, only Tom Cruise dies!!! Every Friday there is an Iraq war protest in front of my office at 1 Ayn Rand Plaza--and most of the protesters are already pretty old. Until now I would just ignore them, but now I'm gonna make it a point to go engage them every time they show up! Then I'm moving to San Francisco or Austin.

There's an Ayn Rand Plaza? Does it have a fountain by any chance?

Anyway, somebody at LGF made a point:

What the hell is an "avid" atheist? How can you enthusiastically not believe in something? That's like saying "I urgently don't drink wine."

If this poor moonbat was a follower of Amy Goodman, he was already brain dead a long time ago. CWZ must have experienced a "rich, full life" if he thought Al Gore, rightwingers, and an unjust country was worth popping a heart hose. Gee, maybe he should have moved to Cuba? Iraq? Iran?, etc.

Oddly, no. It doesn't even have an Atlas--just a map in the lobby.

Shouldn't you christians be more compassionate? Jesus didn't make light of people dying. What gives?

Posted by: Rob B. at June 23, 2005 4:06 AM

Rob, what makes you think that everyone who doesn't like moonbats is a Christian?

Posted by: Van Helsing at June 23, 2005 8:32 PM

You are a sick, sick person and that's all I have to say.
