Border Devolves Toward Total Chaos
The evil seeds planted by our government's refusal to assert control over the southern border are beginning to sprout.
Nature abhors a vacuum, as they say, and the vacuum left by the government's effective absence on the border is no exception. Unfortunately not all of those stepping forward to fill it are as well-intentioned as the commendable Minutemen. WorldNetDaily reports that a gang of Mexican commandos known as Los Zetas are killing people by the hundreds in a bloody war to establish a monopoly on the flourishing cross-border smuggling they were once trained by the USA to combat.
Victims of Los Zetas have included police, soldiers, civilians, and criminal competition, and apparently the mayhem is not limited to the southern side of the border. According to widespread rumors, the gang crosses into US territory "in military-style vehicles, armed with automatic weapons."
Not only drugs are smuggled, but people as well — and not all of them are Mexicans. An FBI sting operation just broke up a smuggling ring that specialized in sneaking in Iranians through Mexico. Ringleader Zeayadali Malhamdary is believed to have smuggled 60 Iranians into the country prior to the sting. Although this case is not known to have a terrorist connection, Iran is of course a primary sponsor of terrorism, and possibly the most hostile state on the planet toward the USA.
Although the OTMs (Other Than Mexicans) being smuggled into the country are more ominous, Mexicans themselves can be a problem, when they pour across the border without regard for our sovereignty. Most will go on to become productive citizens, but there are certainly exceptions who underscore the necessity of maintaining control over immigration. The "Reconquistas" — who sent a 66-year-old woman to the hospital for daring to protest the seditious and taxpayer-financed Danzas Indigenas monument in Baldwin Park, California — aspire to "reconquer" the Southwest.
As related by Jack Wheeler via WorldNetDaily, the group's race-based hostility is extreme. Wheeler reports that the Baldwin Park eruption featured pleasantries like:

A chief organizer of the Reconquista movement is MEChA, whose motto is "Por La Raza Todo, Fuera de La Raza Nada" — "For the race (their race), everything; outside the race, nothing."
But of course it would be racist to object to them invading our country and behaving like this. By the way, the former head of the UCLA chapter of MEChA has been elected Mayor of Los Angeles.

Saw a recent report from the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus suggesting that we need to put around 36,000 troops on the border to effectively stop illegals...so is it going to happen? Ha...

At least this isn't a "right" or "left" problem. Both parties have given ordinary Americans the cold shoulder for generations concerning the illegal immigration problem. And both parties have found ways to make the problem worse.
If foreign war is to hit our shores with any real impact, it may well come through the southern border.
I guess I'm just not your typical "moonbat" since I wholeheartedly support the efforts of the Minutemen and advocate serious and strong border control, including targeting those businesses who hire illegal workers, tracking down and deporting those who got here illegally, and other common sense efforts.
