The Mouth That Would Not Close

Thirty years after the end of the Vietnam War, Hanoi John Kerry announces that he has finally found his "fighting spirit," according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
Burrowing his oddly shaped head ever deeper into the sands of denial, Kerry continues to campaign in the election that ended six months ago, promising health care giveaways and a halt to tax cuts to anyone willing to listen, bellowing meaningless clichés and throwing rocks at the man whose job he is fortunately unlikely ever to hold.
"It's about our economy; it's about our health, and it's national security," Kerry intones insightfully. "Let's do it now!"
Sorry, Jean François, you'll have to wait a few years. And even then you'll have to watch while someone else gets the nomination instead of you. Because everyone except the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and you knows that you are not only a phony, but a loser.
With jaw-dropping gall, the man who spat on American soldiers who unlike himself served honorably by accusing them of habitually indulging in an imaginative array of gruesome war crimes "in a manner reminiscent of Jenjis [sic] Khan" is now describing the Bush Administration's treatment of veterans returning from war as "a disgrace."
A more intriguing Kerry quote can be found in the transcript to an interview with Tim Russert on Meet the Press:
MR. RUSSERT: Would you sign Form 180?
SEN. KERRY: Yes, I will.
Standard Form 180 can be found at this URL:

You can email Kerry here if you'd like to remind him that he could put his political career out of its misery by signing the form as promised and releasing his military record to the public.
And by the way, Kerry has gone on the record as endorsing Antonio Villaraigosa, who has made it amply clear that he will be representing the interests of Mexico, not America, if he attains the office of Mayor of Los Angeles.
