How Moonbats Honor Memorial Day

Yesterday Boston's City Hall Plaza was the site of a Memorial Day tribute with a spin straight out of the MSM. Instead of honoring the soldiers who have died to preserve our freedom and our way of life, the event — entitled "Collateral Damage Noted" — drew attention to civilian casualties of the Iraq War, with the apparent goal of making our troops look like murderers.

The spectacle consisted of about 70 musicians who formed a circle and, according to the Boston Globe, "sounded notes for each of the war's civilian casualties — a high note for a child, a medium note for a woman, and a low note for a man."

The plan was to play between 21,000 and 25,000 notes, corresponding with casualty estimates that found the participants' favor. It went on for an entire hour, and must have sounded lovely. The ringmaster was Tom Plsek of Boston's Berklee College of Music, who asserts that it was not meant as an antiwar statement.
