Evidently John Kerry has still not been able to find the Standard Form 180 that he promised to sign, thereby releasing his military records and clearing up many questions about his adventurous four months of posing as a war hero in Vietnam. If you are feeling civic-minded, you might email Hanoi John here, and tell him that the URL for the form is:
http://www.archives.gov/research_room/obtain_copies/standard_form_180.pdf
Or if you've lost all patience and want to know right now what Kerry was really up to over there, and you're willing to settle for eyewitness reports of men who served with him, get ahold of Unfit for Command. The book is as timely as ever — true, we dodged the bullet in 2004, but the guy is still in the Senate, and seems intent on running for President again in 2008. Unfit for Command does a great job of clarifying just how gross an insult it is to this country that Kerry would be elected so much as dogcatcher. Highly recommended.
