Ward of the Court Churchill

Abe at Don't Let Me Stop You presents a clever solution to University of Colorado's quandary over how to deal with Ward Churchill: Make him a ward of the court!

Once a judge has been allowed to take control of Churchill's affairs, he could then do the responsible thing and resign on the mad professor's behalf.

True, adults are not often declared wards of the court, but who could deny that "Churchill's juvenile behavior provides a sound basis for revoking his status as an adult"?

If this works with Churchill, the same principle might be applied to scraping a few gray-haired adolescents out of the Senate — for example, Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Barbara Boxer, John Kerry...
