Moderate Liberals Jumping Ship
Michael J. Totten received a comment that he liked so much, he promoted it to a post. It consists of a letter written to Nancy Pelosi — a cry from the heart of a liberal whose good conscience does not permit him to continue his lifelong habit of supporting the Democratic Party. The author's main objections are the frothing-at-the-mouth fanaticism of the increasingly dominant Howard Dean contingent, the cynical amorality that allows Dems to cuddle up to terrorists and other monsters, and the ever less subtle anti-Semitism that has been oozing out of the Left like a toilet backing up.
The letter is worth checking out as an example of what promises to become a growing phenomenon. The comically unresponsive and out-of-touch response from Pelosi's office is also included.

Draft Oyster, I say!
FC is getting more and more fun to read, but he's wearing me out. (Too bad I have a day job or I'd...)

PS Sorry for being obtuse, Van Helsing: Oyster and FC are commentators on the Michael J. Totten page you linked to -- the former, an honest and questioning liberal like Warren who's turning away from the Dems; and the latter, a moonbat with too much time on his/her hands, who's all over that thread like cat barf on a rug.
