Saint Luke Banned from Canadian Chapel

Every Christmas season leaves in its wake stories of militant moonbats attempting to smother Christianity by banning its symbols and references, in the process sucking all meaning out of the year's biggest holiday. Now our neighbors to the north — who may lag behind in some respects, but are often at the vanguard when it comes to political correctness — have shown admirable innovation by restricting Christian symbols all year round, and in a novel place: church!

What better place to find Christian symbols to repress? But The Calgary Health Region asserts that covering a Christian stained glass window in the Foothills Hospital chapel is not discrimination. Rather, it would be discrimination not to hide the representation of Saint Luke behind shutters. After all, they aim to be inclusive, apparently meaning: unless you subscribe to some other culture's religion, get used to riding at the back of the bus. The important thing is that the many Muslims and Jews who frequent chapels in the backwaters of Canada don't "feel uncomfortable."

Of course the aversion of moonbats to Christian symbols has been well documented in any number of horror movies. But why do they need to keep them covered in the hospital chapel? That's not where the blood is stored.

St. Luke — Have a look while he's still legal.

Canuck PC is bad enough, VanHelsing, but what concerns me more, right here at home, is what David Limbaugh calls "Selective Separation". Separationists strive to strip Christ from Christmas, and yet they welcome New Age-ism, the in-your-face radical homosexual agenda, and the religion of Climate Change as saving truths in which our children should be baptised at public school. This is packaged innocently in the name of "diversity", but it's simply the Batty Left dripping with hypocrasy: they force us to worship their own pantheon of secularist gods, even as they try to extinguish the Judeo-Christian God from our society.

In recent interviews regarding his new book, Newt Gingrich points out the inanity of Michael Neudow and other God-slayers and their determination to extinguish God from our public life and schools. Our nation was founded on the principle that our " Creator" has endowed mankind with "certain unalienable rights", God-given rights that form the very basis for our struggle for independence from King George III. (Perhaps KG III could have been a bit more polite about it all, and saved himself the humiliation of defeat.)

Someone out there: please convince me that those who have so arrogantly twisted the establishment clause and the concept of “separation of church and state” haven’t gone just a little too far.
